It seems like yesterday that our little Hunter was just being wheeled into the operating room to have his skull reconstructed. And yet, today it has been exactly one month since his hospital stay. Looking back, we are reminded of all the weeks and months prior to surgery full of anticipation, anxiety and even fear. It wasn't until we finally placed it all into the hands of God that peace and rest flooded our souls. We went from tears of worry to feeling strangely excited to see what God was going to do. And of course, not only did he answer our prayers, He did "abundantly above anything we could ask or think". We are so grateful to God and to ALL of you for your prayers and encouragement. Hunter has made an amazing recovery. He is doing better than ever in his school work and for all of you that know Hunter, not to worry, he is back to his constant questions...I say the Lord restored him to about 110%!!! :) Yesterday marked a big milestone. Hunter had his first haircut in two months. And while we were tempted to take Kayla up on her offer, we decided to go with someone shall we say...more experienced. :) We are including some pictures of his new look. He's looking GOOD!!!
